Here’s your Instagram checklist:

  • You can use the Giving Tuesday downloadable images that speak to èßäAV’s Giving Day goals with family, friends, and followers.
  • Socialize! Like your supporters’ posts, consider re-sharing posts that stand out and speak to your cause. Showcasing the stories and individuals that propel èßäAV’s mission will help you gain more followers, recognition, and traction in advance of Giving Day.
  • Use the #givingdayèßäAV hashtags in addition to other creative hashtags. 3-5 hashtags per post are the sweet spot. Start with a branded or specific hashtag--like a tagline or fun phrase. Follow this with the name of your organization, then a broader hashtag tied to your cause (e.g., #LearnhereGivehere, #GodsFavorOnUs, #GivingTuesday2025). Having a succession of hashtags helps connect others to the cause you care about!
  • Have fun! Instagram is a really playful platform, and the perfect opportunity to let the unique personalities, humor and convictions shine through your photos, captions and hashtags! Instagram is a fantastic opportunity to relate to your family, friends, and followers, showing them who you are and what you stand for.
